Becoming a musician is a journey that requires self discipline, patience and determination. It is about making a sustained effort.

Music training is a non-linear learning activity. Understanding the rules of music and how to apply them is what differentiates a musician from someone who simply memorizes a few tunes.

Early music training involves scales, fingering exercises, and learning to read music. I teach positional playing techniques along with ear training and early development of  improvisational skills.

I teach children and adults from the earliest beginner through advanced intermediate level
